Split shared costs and settle up in the fewest payments

Rent, groceries, a trip or dinner out: who paid what and who owes whom, Sudeb keeps it all on a list and tells you the shortest way to close it.

Free · No credit card · iOS, Android and web

List detail (Personal): EUR, GBP and USD summary with net position.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open a list

Create a list for your home, a trip or a group. The list is where things are shared; every record keeps its own currency.

  2. 2

    Split the expense

Split expense divides the amount between people, equally or by shares you type, opening one record per person.

  3. 3

    Settle up

Settle up shows the fewest payments that close the list's open records, per currency.

  4. 4

    Keep it together

Share the list with your housemates; everyone sees the same records and changes reach everyone within seconds.

New record: person first, then amount and due date, with repeat on the same sheet.

Questions people ask

Is splitting expenses free?

Splitting expenses and settling up are free on every plan. Adding other Sudeb users to a list as members is a Pro feature; lists shared before keep working.

Can I move over from Splitwise?

Yes. Add a Splitwise export to a list with Import CSV. The preview marks duplicate and broken rows, and nothing is written until you confirm.

What about expenses in different currencies?

Every record stays in its own currency and is never converted for you. Settle up works per currency too, so nobody pays too little or too much because of an exchange rate.
