Your shop's tab book, in your pocket

A corner shop, a butcher, a hair salon or any small business that lets customers pay later: add each customer as a person and write each purchase as a receivable. No lost pages, no wrong totals.

Free · No credit card · iOS, Android and web

People: James Miller, Sophia Reed, Olivia Carter, plus two settled accounts.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add the customer

Save the customer as a person by name, with a phone number and a note if you like. If someone was added twice, merge them.

  2. 2

    Write down the purchase

Each purchase on credit becomes a receivable in the customer's name, with the amount, a title and a payment day if you like.

  3. 3

    Take payments off

Add a collection whenever the customer pays something. The person's page always shows the customer's correct total.

  4. 4

    Send the statement

Send the customer a public statement link: they see their balance, open records and payment details such as your IBAN, without signing in.

Questions people ask

Can more than one person in the shop write in the same ledger?

Yes. Keep the ledger as a list and add your staff as editors; they can add records and payments, and changes show up for everyone within seconds. Adding members to a list and the editor role are Pro features.

Can I add records without an internet connection?

Yes. The mobile app takes records and payments offline and syncs everything to all your devices when you are back online. Offline mode is on the free plan.

How do I bring over the records from my paper book?

Type them into a sheet with person, title, amount and date columns and add it to a list with Import CSV. You see a preview first, and nothing is written until you confirm.
